CCL announce partnership with Fretwell-Downing Hospitality

CCL plc has signed a collaboration agreement with Fretwell-Downing Hospitality. The agreement will see CCL become the premier funding partner for all of the company's clients, who will now be able to rent their business IT solution from CCL, on a monthly basis.

FDH provide specialised management information systems to the catering industry. The company works across a number of industry sectors including contract catering, armed forces catering, retail and leisure enterprises, as well as the public sector. They offer a range of solutions to respond to the different needs of the catering industry, from the management of stock and production in single sites, through to web-enabled solutions for large-scale, multi-site operations.

Like many industry-specific IT solutions providers, FDH work in partnership with their clients, offering ongoing consultancy, upgrade, training and technical services as part of an annual agreement. Through their collaboration with CCL, the total annual revenue of each client is recognised by FDH on installation. With CCL taking care of collection, FDH will be able to focus on npd and customer service, optimising solutions and driving business success.

In terms of the catering industry, rental will allow many more foodservice operators to benefit from FDH's leading solutions, that would have been unable to deliver an upfront cash payment. Furthermore, by paying in monthly instalments, investment is aligned with return.
