FSI
and CCL: partners in IT finance
Press
release 11.02.2002
CCL
plc, the UK-based IT finance specialists have just announced
a partnership with FSI, which will see CCL providing
finance for all of FSI's software solutions and services.
Since
its formation in October 1990, Facilities Software International
has become a market leader in computer-aided facilities
management (CAFM), that prides itself on offering a
client-oriented service. The company works with many
of the UK's leading companies, offering a range of scaleable
solutions for the management of buildings and facilities.
Like many highly specialised software solutions, clients
make a long-term commitment to FSI. The ability to offer
clients a broad range of flexible finance solutions
is a natural next step for FSI, and a way to add value
to their service by making their solutions easy to buy.
It also allows clients to align their investment with
the returns that they will receive, providing a better
business case for new solutions and upgrades.
With CCL on board, FSI are now able to offer clients
CCL's unique Rental Exchange® finance product. This
allows customer companies to pay for their IT solution
via a series of fixed term, fixed amount monthly payments.
Customers are able to accrue equity within the finance
agreement that allows for further reinvestment in product
upgrades, training, or new users licenses.
For
the client, Rental Exchange® effectively provides
an outsourced IT budget, giving them the ability to
achieve even greater business benefits without having
to find the cash funding each time.
For
solutions providers like FSI, Rental Exchange® provides
a way to maximise client value, ensuring that existing
business continues to generate revenue, after the first
sale.
